Jonathan Livingston, 2013
35mm film, transferred to digital HD, 8 min.
Inspired by the classic comedy of Hal Ashby, Harold and Maude (1971), the film Jonathan Livingston stages a character traveling aboard his Jaguar E-Type transformed into a funerary vehicle. This driver, wandering around in the countryside, seems to be searching for the way, while the situation varies between the enjoyment of speed and a potentially fatal accident. Ambivalent, the Russian roulette as a game of life and death is bearable because legitimized by a car that looks like a trophy.
